YourTake.org is founded and operated by The Tregoe Education Forum, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping K-12 educators and students thrive in a rapidly changing and complex world. Since 1994, The Tregoe Education Forum has acted upon the belief that great things are possible when people think and act effectively – individually and together. Through yourtake.org we are working with educators and students in transforming problem-solving and decision-making into readily applicable classroom tools for middle and high school students. Our online tools, workshops and handbooks have been adapted from proven approaches developed by Kepner-Tregoe, an international management consulting firm. To date, these same skills have been utilized by managers and employees in more than 1400 of the world’s best-known corporations, including: Corning, Federal Express, Honda, Lockheed Martin, Johnson & Johnson, Boeing, and British Airways.

Our tools, workshops and handbooks are based on the belief that success (both inside and outside of a classroom) depends upon our ability to ask and consider important questions. Yourtake.org in-service workshops

While certainly not necessary in order to use yourtake.org effectively, these in-service workshops provide schools with a different way to either introduce the website and SCAN tool to first-time users or to extend and enhance their application for experienced users. The workshops are tailored to meet each schools needs and objectives. back to top

Decision Analysis: Making Good Choices Workshops and Materials

This 1-2 day workshop introduces a proven decision-making methodology for use with students. Participants learn Decision Analysis and how to introduce it with students. Teacher and Student handbooks help guide the application of Decision Analysis in the classroom. back to top

Workshops for School and District Leaders

Our workshops for administrators and other education leaders introduce proven research-based approaches for resolving difficult school and district issues through the more effective use of information, collaboration, and judgment.
